Besides his six-day career, he was also on the Canadian Olympic team, held the record for the 50 mile ITT, went to the British Empire and Commonwealth Games, won the Quebec-Montreal road race (also took a second and third in other years), and won the Tour of Somerville in 1955.
Pat also rode for the Italian Torpado Pro Cycling Team for a season or so. Some of the big races he did, while a Pro, was Milan-San Remo and the World Championship Road Race.
